As a Master Level Social Worker, I provide a compassionate, welcoming space for individuals of all ages, with a primary specialization in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. I tailor my approach to meet you exactly where you are in life. For younger clients, I utilize creative and collaborative approaches like play therapy and expressive arts to help them express unspoken words or things they may not be ready to say verbally. For teens and young adults navigating life transitions, I weave in mindfulness strategies, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to build practical, everyday tools for resilience.
Through my extensive experience working in school settings and additionally being a licensed NYS teacher, I have truly enhanced my skills in supporting individuals with ADHD, tech addiction, and the everyday complexities of the school system. I am highly knowledgeable about Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and thrive on collaborating directly with local school staff. My goal is to act as a bridge for families, ensuring that students feel deeply supported both in the therapy room and the classroom.
When I am not in the office, you can usually find me recharging out in nature or spending quality time with my Husky, Elsa. I look forward to meeting you and working together to help you or your child thrive!
