I work as a sounding board to help my clients gain a better understanding of themselves and to try to understand what they want most in life- a more difficult question than people realize. Embarking on and working through our struggles can be painful and scary. I offer a place for my clients to explore their range of emotions and thoughts freely, deeply – and with humor – without judgement or shame, to help them see their issues from different perspectives and regain balance in their lives.
Throughout my career, I have worked in both private practice and agency settings and have experience with a wide variety of mental health issues and disorders including: anxiety, depression, post-partum care, adjustment disorder, PTSD, substance use disorder, issues related to involvement in the criminal justice system as well as intimate partner violence.
